3. What happens if the code I received is incorrect?

5. How do I know if my phone is already unlocked?

You can simply insert a non-accepted sim card into your phone. Power on the phone and if it does not ask for the unlock code then your phone may already be unlocked. You can also try making a call or sending a text message to check if the phone is unlocked.

6. What happens if the phone won't ask for the unlock code?

If you don't see the message requesting an unlock code after you insert a non-accepted sim card then your phone is already unlocked. This is a very common mistake people often make. Before purchasing an unlock code we recommend trying the phone with a non-accepted sim card.

The unlock code will be sent to the email you selected before making the purchase of your unlock code. If no email was requested then you will automatically receive it in the email linked to your paypal account.

8. How can I find the IMEI number of my phone?

Dial *#06# and the IMEI number will appear in the screen. Include only the first 15 digits and ignore the dots. Please make sure your IMEI number is 100% correct before placing your order. No refunds can be given if the IMEI number you provided is inaccurate. Additionally you can find the IMEI number on the back of the phone (behind the battery) and in some brands it is also located in the box that came with your phone when it was purchased.

9. Will my phone work with all GSM?

Your phone will only be compatible with GSM sim cards. Most of the sim cards are GSM. However there are a few service providers that operate under a CDMA network. To avoid any misunderstanding we recommend that you call your new service provider and ask them if their sim cards are GSM or CDMA. You can also send us your question using the Contact Us form.

10. Will my phone get damaged after being unlocked?

No. There is no risk on damaging your phone. The warranty will not be voided. In fact, unlocking your phone will increase the resale value and you can sell it at a higher price in the future.
